In Matt 5:44–45, Jesus gave a teaching many persons may find rather ridiculous today. Love your enemies? and even do good to those who hate you? Surprising, but this is the Jesus way of life. This is an expression of the unconditional and fatherly nature of God’s love to man and he wants us to also live our lives this same way.
As Christians, we are called to LOVE, our salvation is built on Love, and we must spread the love of Christ wherever we go in words and in conduct. We must give peace in place of quarrel, we must respond with love and not malice, even while the devil may bring reasons we should not walk in love, we must follow the commandment of Jesus to love. When you love, you spread peace to a world with unending strife. Unbelievers would not seek to know the Jesus you follow if you are a tongue speaking or church going Christian without love.
